"The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Matthew 9:37-38
The purpose of this site is to ". . . Go and Make Disciples . . . baptizing them . . . teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20)
What does “make disciples” mean and are you doing it, or are you relying on others to do the work. The simple definition of discipleship is to turn a learner into a teacher. Have you been discipled, are you training others to obey everything Jesus has commanded, do you know what Jesus’ commands are?
“Make Disciples” was one of Jesus’ last commands to His disciples, that's you (pastor, leader, business person, hair dresser, soldier, laborer, mom, dad, friend, etc. - YOU). And what does a command warrant, but simple obedience:
Jesus says, "If you love me, you will obey what I command . . . Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him . . . He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me . . . If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love." (John 14:15-15:10)
